Bluetake BT007Si Bluetooth USB AdapterProvided By: Bluetake For anyone who has ever doubted the low bandwidth wireless technology known as Bluetooth, the joke's on you. Bluetooth popularity and functionality is now higher than ever. With version 1.2 available, Bluetooth can natively perform functions like transmitting high quality stereo sound and receiving pictures wirelessly from Bluetooth enabled camera phones and new Bluetooth enabled digital cameras. This is unpleasant news for anyone who has an old (v1.1) adapter, as they do not support the profiles v1.2 offers. However, for anyone who has yet to make their computer Bluetooth enabled, now is a great time because v1.2 Bluetooth adapters are rapidly becoming available. One such adapter is the BT007Si USB adapter from Bluetake. Just what can this new adapter do? Read on and find out.
Packaging: Bluetake's BT007Si adapter comes packaged in a slim colored retail box. The front of the box displays the name of the product along with a small window that shows off the enclosed adapter. Description:
Bluetake's BT007Si is one of the smallest USB adapters, or USB device for that matter, that I have seen. With a length of only 49mm, including the USB plug, it is a perfect adapter for computers and notebooks alike. BT007Si is encased in white plastic with an odd shaped transparent blue plastic on the sides. This plastic allows the internal blue LED to show when the adapter is plugged in. |
