ABS Stealth Computer CaseInternal:
The inside of the ABS Stealth is constructed of bare aluminum. The front portion of the interior features all the drive bays. While the Stealth has a fair amount of simple tool-less designs, none of them are related to the drive bays. Drives must be secured into the bays with standard screws. A generous bag of screws is included though.
Each of the 3.5" drive bays are tab divided meaning there are tabs for the drive to rest on when you are securing it with screws. The 5.25" drive bays; however, are not tab divided. These drives must be held in place by hand when being secured.
Located in front of the 3.5" drive bays is a 120mm blue LED intake fan. This fan actively cools any drive installed directly behind it. The top back corner of the case is equipped with a nice sized PSU cage. The cage offers great weight support for any power supply installed, though there may be some compatibility issues with modular power supplies.
Located below the PSU cage are two grilled 80mm exhaust fans. Below that are the seven expansion slots, all covered with standard slot covers secured by thumb screws.
ABS's Stealth case features something that has almost become a lost art – a removable motherboard tray. The motherboard tray, along with the back of the case (everything below the PSU cage) is able to slide out. Even if you have never used a case with a removable motherboard tray, you can easily imagine how much more convenient it makes installing things such as motherboards, CPU coolers, and expansion cards. You can install those things without being confined in the dimensions of the case. Once they are installed, the motherboard tray simply slides back into the case. Mounted on the bottom of the case is an internal speaker. All three included fans use 3-pin connectors, but 3-pin to Molex adapters are included for each fan. Though audible, the included fans are not particularly loud. When on, the front fan glows blue and it is easily visible through the mesh front of the case. Furthermore, if the room is dark enough, the blue glow can be seen through the gap of the front door. The edges of the interior are not rounded or folded, though they all have clean finishes with no edges being particularly sharp. With that said, I would still recommend caution when working inside the case to prevent getting cut.
Lastly, the interior side of the right side panel features an oversized air flow guide. Ideally, this air guide should line up directly over the CPU cooler allowing the cooler to suck fresh air from the outside of the case. This oversized air guide offers compatibility with the ever increasing CPU cooler fan sizes. However, the position of the air guide is fixed making it either a hit or miss on whether it will line up properly with the CPU socket on your motherboard.
