Aerocool Chameleon Fan (cont.)Installation and Usage:
I suggest using the Chameleon as an exhaust fan because exhaust fans have the largest air temperature variance that passes through them. This also means you will have a general idea of the air temperature that currently is inside your case. If your computer uses fan cages, just snap the fan into the fan cage or else use the included screws. Once the fan is properly mounted, plug the three pin power connector into the motherboard or a fan controller. You may also use the 4 Pin Molex adapter to connect the fan to the power supply.
When powered up, the four LEDs illuminate the non-transparent fan blades with four short beams. At a noise level of 20.3 dBA, your going to have to try very hard to hear it.
Conclusion: The Chameleon is defiantly one of the most innovative fan designs I have seen. Its color shifting characteristic gives a visual to something that is otherwise invisible (change in temperature). Plus, it does all that while running very quietly. For those seeking greatest looking gear for their computers, the Aerocool Chameleon is a defiant choice. Pros:
