Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 PROProvided By: CaseCooler.com Cooling your CPU is very important as we all know. Because of this, there are hundreds of solutions for a person to choose from. Arctic Cooling offers a CPU cooler that promises to provide exceptional cooling with very little noise by utilizing heatpipe technology. While most of these solutions tend to cost around $40-50, Arctic Cooling's Freezer 64 Pro is a very affordable solution. Normally, that means they took shortcuts and the cooler does not work all that well. CaseCooler.com allowed us to test the Freezer 64 PRO from Arctic Cooling, so let's find out how well it performs.
Packaging: Arctic Cooling's Freezer Pro 64 CPU cooler comes packaged in a black cardboard box. A picture of the heatpipe cooler is on the front of the box with Arctic Cooling's logo in the upper corner.
The back of the Freezer Pro's box has a drawing indicating how the heatpipe cooler works. Cold air enters through the fan, from the back, bottom, and top of the fan. Warm air is then pushed out the back of the of the heatsink. The only difference from how one would expect the cooler to work is the bent fins on the bottom blow air over the voltage converters on the motherboard.
Turning the box shows the key features of the Freezer PRO cooler. On the opposite side are the technical specifications.
