* Special Thanks to Tyler “sparkyclarky” C. for
his help in analyzing the usefulness of this fan, as well as the
use of his computer for thermal data.
This review is rather basic; Panasonic is known
for producing their high quality industrial grade Panaflo OEM fans
for the PC enthusiast. I was sent a 92mm, FBA-09A12H. The factory
rated
specs
on this fan are as follows:
- 56.8 CFM (airflow)
- 35 Db-A (Noise)
- 7-13.8 V (normal 12v operating voltage) rated current mA =
225
- 3.70 W input
- 2850 normal RPM

Packaging and Appearance:
The Panaflo fan unit came in a nice little package with sufficient
bubble wrap to protect it while in transit. The fan appeared as
basic
as it can possibly get. Aside from the Panaflo sticker on the unit,
I would not have been able to tell it by sight alone from any other
generic 92mm fan. But Panaflo has a reputation for being fans of
the highest quality, so I was excited to see just how competent
this fan was. The rather short power cord attached to the fan was
capped off with a motherboard power-type jack. The jack was a standard
3-pin with rpm sensor cable.

Everything else about the Panaflo fan was absolutely average,
and not in a bad way. The fan attached via normal fan screws, it
showed
no obvious
defects, and appeared to be of good build. The
cable was not too long, but just long enough to reach well placed
motherboard fan headers. Other than being “generic black” this
fan was attractive in every respect.
