FR1104-G sports a professional charcoal colored, rectangular
metal chassis. On top of the router is a sticker
that has a small list of the router's features, default IP address
and password. The front of the router features an
organized array of green status LEDs which are all properly
labeled. Also, on the front is a reset button that will reset the
router to its default settings.

The back of the router features a 5V DC port, four Ethernet LAN
ports, one Ethernet WAN port, and a gold plated RP-SMA connector
which the included antenna attaches to. The antenna is about 145mm
long with a 10mm diameter. It tapers down towards the tip. The
bottom side of the FR1104-G features two L shaped cutouts which
allow the router to be hung on a vertical surface with screws.
Also, on the bottom are four circular indents specifying where
the included rubber feet should go.

The ease of setup will vary depending on how the
FR1104-G is used. The main reason for a router is, of course, to
share high speed internet. Having all the necessary information
will make setup a breeze. If sharing broadband is indeed the agenda,
make sure to have all the ISP's information ready.

Hardware wise, just connect the AC adapter to the wall and the
router and it is good to go. To configure the FR1104-G, one computer
needs to be connected to it through an Ethernet cable; one is graciously
included.

The included quick start guide shows how to set the computer
to obtain IP addresses automatically (in all OS), so there will
be no problem communicating with the router. With the "wired" computer,
launch Internet Explorer (or another browser of choice) and type
in the default IP address printed on the sticker on top of the
router. Hit enter. The router's login screen will now
appear; type in the default password. After logging in, you will
now be in the Administrator's Main Menu.

For most users, just follow the Setup Wizard and when prompted,
enter all the necessary information. If everything goes well,
at
the end of the wizard the router should be serving hot piping broadband
internet to all the computers on the network.

Advanced users who
understand networks can skip the wizard and just use the navigation
on the left side of the screen to go to the configuration menu
of choice. Changing some of the FR1104-G's settings will
require it to reboot before the change is made. One way to do
this is by going the Toolbox Menu and click on reboot.
