 Xclef HD-500 MP3 PlayerProvided By: Xclef Most of you know that the current incarnation of portable music is the mp3 player. With their small physical size and large storage capacity, mp3 players are the perfect way to enjoy music on the go. For those who want to bring their entire music collection, there are mp3 players that use a hard drive to store music. Nowadays, almost every mp3 player manufacturer offers at least one hard drive model; therefore, there is a wide selection to choose from. One hard drive mp3 player on the market that most have not heard of is the Xclef HD-500 Personal Music Jukebox from the Korean company Xclef, also known as Multi Channel Labs. This review will be looking at their 20GB model.
Packaging: The HD-500 comes packaged in a retail cardboard box that has a dark glossy finish. "Xclef Portable Storage Device & Personal Music Jukebox" is printed across the top front of the box. Below that is a list of the mp3 player's key features and a picture of the Audio Jukebox itself. Below the list of features is the mp3 player's model number and Multi Channel Lab's logo.
The top side of the package has an icon list of the HD-500's key features, while the bottom side lists more features; with the player as a Portable Storage Device and as a Personal Music Jukebox. The right side of the box has a list of included contents and the left side of the box has the list of specifications.
Inside, the HD-500 is held securely in place by internal cardboard framing and is enclosed in a foam bag to protect it from scratches. All the included accessories are enclosed in their own plastic bags.
