Mouse Pad from MyGameController.com</h1> <p align="left"><strong>Performance:</strong></p> <p align="left"> A few days of normal usage as well as some brief gaming sessions demonstrated to me that the Black Knight's surface was indeed very smooth. It was on par with the Control side of the <a href="http://www.atruereview.com/exactmat/index.php">Razer eXactMat</a>, which was the pad I have been previously using. I felt no drags or snags when moving across the surface with my test mouse, the <a href="atruereview/black_knight/../optorite_mouse/index.php">Optorite ML100</a>.</p> <p align="center"><a href="atruereview/black_knight/04.jpg"><img src="atruereview/black_knight/04th.jpg" alt=" Black Knight HP Gaming Mouse Pad" title=" Black Knight HP Gaming Mouse Pad" width="250" height="220" border="0"></a><br> <font size="-1">Click on image for larger picture</font> </p> <p>In addition to smooth mouse gliding, cursor movement was also very accurate with no perceptible jumps or skips. This is largely due to the quality of the ML100 mouse. While cursor accuracy is usually a subjective matter, one way to get an "official" measure of accuracy is with <a href="http://www.a4tech.com/en/micejudge.htm">A4Tech's Mice Judge</a> USB Mouse Quality Testing Program. Though the program is meant to test the quality of the mouse, it can inadvertently be used to test mouse pad quality by using one mouse on different pads. I tested the Black Knight XLH against the Razer eXactMat Control side. The mouse used for the tests is the Optorite ML100. For the circular movement test, I moved the mouse continuously in a counter clock-wise circle for the duration of the test.</p> <p>As the results show, the performance of the Black Knight is very much on par with the eXactMat, even outscoring it in the linear movement test. With the Black Knight, the answer is definitely no! For a fraction of what a famous brand gaming pad costs, the Black Knight XLH manages to provide a generously sized quality gaming surface that performs superbly well.
