Bluetake Bluetooth BT210 USB Printer Adapter & BT009X USB AdapterUsage:
The printer shows up in the print menu of all applications just like a standard printer. I did not feel a speed difference in printing with the Bluetooth adapter compared to a wired connection. A printer does not need a lot of bandwidth for the bottleneck is in the printing speed. Though my test setup does not exploit the benefits of the using the BT210, they do exist. One benefit of the BT210 is that the printer can be remotely located anywhere within wireless range. Another benefit is if more than one computer has a Bluetooth adapter, then they can all access the printer.
Conclusion: The BT210 is a great way to turn a USB printer into a wireless Bluetooth printer. It is very easy to install and performs really well. If your computer is already Bluetooth enabled, then the BT210 will work without additional hardware. If your computer does not have have Bluetooth capabilities, then the BT009X is a fine choice though it is a Class II Bluetooth device. I would recommend the BT007X instead since it is a Class I device with a range of 100 meters. Overall, the BT210 and BT009X are both very good Bluetooth devices. BT210
