Bluetooth Stereo HeadsetHeadset Description: Opening the Suncore BlueMuFly Bluetooth Headset's package reveals quite a few items for a headset.
The first item of interest is the bluetooth audio transmitter. It is a rectangular looking, shinny black box. It actually does not finger print that easily. There are no instructions with the BlueMuFly headset; therefore, it took a few minutes to figure out how to use the transmitter. A 3.5mm stereo plug is attached to the transmitter and plugs into an audio source, which is obvious. A silver button, present on the front, must be pressed and held to pair the bluetooth transmitter to the headset. LED indicators will blink blue when this is done successfully; a red LED on the headset will stop blinking as well.
The bluetooth stereo headset is black and has silver ear pieces. It is light weight for its size. Of course, it gets heavier when 2 AA batteries are added to the left ear piece. To install the batteries, slide the silver side of the ear piece out and the battery cage is revealed.
Power, volume control and a status LED are located on the right ear piece. When properly wearing the headset, these items are located towards the back of a head. The volume button is a bit unique. Instead of a dial, it is more of a switch that is pulled down for lower volume, pushed up for higher volume. Pushing it inward switches to a phone mode. The input mic is located on the reverse side of the button. There is no input mic feature on the transmitter, so using this bluetooth headset for games that need communication will not work without an external mic.
Large foam pads are present to make the headset comfortable to wear.
A rubber adjustable band allows the bluetooth headset to adjust to a person's head. There is a hard piece of plastic that curves along the rubber band to keep its form.
Also, included with the BlueMuFly bluetooth headset is a USB to mini USB cable and a power adapter that converts 110 AC to 5V USB power.
