It is connected to a tripod that allows 360 degrees of rotation as long as the cord clears. The can is able to move up or down to adjust the height of the beam. It can even tilt to the side. Once the height is found, the locking knob is turned to secure the can in place.</p> <p>The two foot cord is annoying. I am not sure if the cord that short because of signal degradation, but it is very hard to work with. If you do not have the wireless device on flat surface, it will be very hard to position Cantenna.</p> <p>The instructions show how to move the can. They also show applications similar to those on the box. The most important thing they mention is fine tuning.
