CasEdge Diabolic Minotaur Mid Tower CaseOutside (cont.):
To protect from scratches, the side windows and front drive panels are protected with a sheet of plastic. Not a lot of side window is present in the Diabolic case. A jaw divides the case's window. If you are looking for a full display of innards than this is not the case for you. I will discuss the case's inlet vent, or maybe we should call it an ear, later.
Looking at the back of the computer case, the first thing that grabs the eyes is a giant fan hole. That's right, this case supports a 120mm ceramic bearing fan, very rare. The 120mm fan will provide excellent airflow while keeping the noise down. Yes, when run it is very quiet and moves a lot of air. The fan also snaps into a housing for easy replacement. Thumbscrews make getting into and out of the case a snap. These quality thumbscrews provide an excellent grip.
Power Supply:
Included with CasEdge's Diabolic computer case is a 400 Watt P4 power supply. A range of PSUs are available with this case from 300W to 400W. Six AT, 4 pin molex leads provide power to drives and fans. Also, included with the PSU is a Pentium 4 power connector for P4 motherboards. This is a computer case review; therefore, I won't go too much into the power supply. Voltages were taken with a multi-meter under a load (hard drive, fan, CDROM) on the lines. A power supply should never have greater than 5% difference between actual and stated line voltage.
