Razer Diamondback Gaming Mouse ReviewProvided By: Razerzone Some time ago, Razer introduced an excellent gaming mouse named the Viper. What made the Viper great was its superb oversized buttons and a pioneering 1000 dpi optical sensor, which even today is rarely found in a computer mouse. Now, Razer is attempting to step up again with their latest gaming mouse, the Razer Diamondback. Does Razer's Diamondback have what it takes to be the best gaming mouse on the market? Read on and find out.
Packaging: Razer's Diamondback comes packaged in decorated retail box with a hyperbolic cutout on the front where the enclosed mouse, in a blister frame, is displayed. The front of the Diamondback's box displays the product's name along with some of the Diamondback's groundbreaking technical specifications. A profile shot of the mouse and Razer's green tri-snake Razer company logo are also on the front.
The right side of the box features an advertisement for Razer's own dual sided eXactMat mouse pad, while the left side of the box has a window that shows the included free LAN-Pack carrying pouch. On back is a list of the Diamondback's key specifications along with a diagram highlighting the mouse's many features. Also, on back are system requirements, shots of the mouse in its two available colors, and icon that mentions Razer being the official mouse supplier of the World Cyber Games (WCG).
