Vizo Paragon One Touch BackupDescription: Vizo's Paragon One Touch Backup External Case has a nice mirror like finish to it. This is why a cloth wipe is included. It removes the finger prints that occur from touching the external case. The case, being made of aluminum; thus, is ultra light. At the lower section of the case's top is the Paragon name. Two LEDs are opposite this name in the upper left. They indicate power and hard drive activity.
At the back of the external drive case is a power port, mini-USB connection and a function button. The power port is kind of useless because Vizo does not provide an extra power adapter. In fact, they include a USB cable that has two USB A connections for a computer. The second connection provides extra power for the drive. While this is normal on many USB drive setups today, Vizo's earlier Paragon design only had a single USB connection. It is a good thing they did not release this model, for the prototype I got with the single setup did not work. I assumed it was because it didn't have enough juice.
The pocket case is made of Nylon. It has an open end at the top that the drive slides into. On the back is a velcro pocket. The USB cable fits in here.
Installation: Installing the drive is very basic. Unscrew the screws with the provided screw driver, which is a pain. I will warn you, do this over a desk on a white sheet of paper. The screws are tiny, like those on a watch. When you drop them you will see them better on the paper, better than trying to find them in the carpet.
Once the screws are out, pop off the lid. The drive slides in. It is a tight fit and a little bit of pressures is needed to get the drive to seat properly. Lastly, screw the case back on and plug the drive into a computer's USB ports. Again, the small screws will make closing the case fun.
