APC TravelPower Synthetic Leather Notebook CaseProvided by: Computer
Geeks If you own a notebook computer, you know the greatest benefit to having it is that you can take it anywhere. Although, dropping it could cost you valuable data, not to mention hundreds of dollars for repairs. Also, with a notebook comes all the accessories you need to make it work. A mouse, extra battery, power adapter, etc... must be carried along with the notebook. This is where a notebook case is your best friend for carrying the accessories and protecting the notebook from damage. Computer Geeks has some great deals on these cases, including the APC TravelPower Synthetic Leather Notebook Case.
Packaging: Computer Geeks sent the APC notebook case in a standard brown box. The case is surrounded by air packing so it does not move during shipping. Almost overkill for a notebook case that should be durable enough to stand up to shipping and handling. The APC notebook case is also wrapped in a plastic bag to protect against dirt and scratches.
Features: Listed on Computer Geeks' web site are the following features for APC's TC1000S notebook case.
Exterior: For brevity I will refer to the synthetic leather as leather, but know that is not real leather although it feels just like real leather. It is very thick and will surely protect your laptop from damage. Each seam is well stitched and the notebook case feels very sturdy.
The front flap on the notebook case has a zipper pocket that is almost the full width of the flap. It is a thin pocket that might be able to hold a CD or small notepad. At the end of the pocket, about 5 inches down, are metal buckles that hold the flap shut. The connectors that snap into the buckles are plastic.
A leather handle is atop the case. It is connected to the leather exterior with a metal buckle on each side. To the right and left of the handle are leather loops. No idea what this loop is for or what it can be used for, but there is one. On the back side of the case is another thin pocket that is the height of the case. It is almost the full width.
Rounding out the case on each side is a metal "O" ring that the case strap attaches to. The adjustable leather case strap was found inside the case. It too has metal latches to hook to the "O" ring. On the top of the strap is where the cushioning is. This also has APC's name across it. |
