LED Light BulbProvided By:
Don's Green Store Last year I took a look at some LED bulbs after seeing a news snippet on them. I believe in the LED light bulb technology because it lasts 50 time longer and uses 10 percent of the power of an incandescent bulb. My one disappointment was that the light was too focused and did not brighten up a room. This made the bulbs impractical for 99 percent of household applications. Well, it's a year later and Don's green store has sent me a more powerful LED bulb. Will it be enough to power a room full of lighting, let's find out.
Packaging: Don's Green Store sent me two forms of LED lighting. Both came in a pretty basic package. On all four sides of the LED box is a picture of the bulb. Other than that, the box is made of cardboard, which the bottom indicates is recyclable. Specifications: Specifications for the LED light bulb can be seen on Don's Green Store's web site.
Description:
I received two LED bulbs from Don's Green Store as mentioned above. The first bulb with 15 LEDs is a lot like my other LED light bulb from Geek's that. The other bulb offers more than twice as many LEDs. The casing is round but the LEDs themselves are not in a 3D rounded pattern. This should provide more light, but a more rounded pattern would make the LED bulb disperse light better and less focused towards the top. The longer 15 LED bulb promotes itself as being able to distribute its light better with its elongated plastic shell. Each LED inside these bulbs is a super bright LED like those on case fans. Each bulb is made to insert into a standard 110V lightS socket. |
