The cleaning pad did a very effective job wiping off the dust buildup and smudges on the screen. As advertised, the MicroClear pad did not scratch the screen at all. Equally as amazing was how well it stuck to the top of my notebook yet was easy to peel off. I mentioned that the adhesive side of the MicroClear does not feel very sticky - yet it does stick to flat surfaces quite well.</p> <p align="center"><a href="atruereview/mobile_edge_micro_clear/04.jpg"><img src="atruereview/mobile_edge_micro_clear/04th.jpg" alt="Mobile Edge MicroClear" title="Mobile Edge MicroClear"width="250" height="196" border="0"></a><br> <font size="-1">Click on image for larger picture</font> </p> <p>I also used the MicroClear pad on my Qtek S200 smartphone and it does a great job cleaning my phone's touch screen. This is where I think Mobile Edge's MicroClear cleaning pads are most useful. On any style phone, unless you always use a headset, the phone's screen will touch your face whenever you make a call on it and the screen will smudge. The MicroClear easily wipes away said smudges and then sticks to the back side of the phone when not in use.</p> <p> <strong>Durability:</strong></p> <p>I have used the Mobile Edge cleaning pads both on my notebook computer and cell phones for a few weeks now and the pads have held up quite well. After dozens of "peeling and re-sticking" the adhesive side of the pad still sticks. After numerous wipes, the MicroFiber side of the pads still does a good job clearing debris off screens. The only noticeable wear on the MicroClear pads are light fraying on the edges of the small pad I use for my phone. Its plush MicroFiber side safely wipes screens clean without scratching while its adhesive side lets the pads stick to the back of your devices when not in use.
