Mobile Edge SecurePackProvided By: Mobile Edge One of the most common means of carrying stuff around on a daily basis is the ubiquitous backpack. Whether you are male, female, student, businessman, or traveler; a backpack is a practical means of portable storage. It generally can carry quite a bit and is comfortable to wear. These days, it is not uncommon for a person to carry around hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of stuff on his or her back – with notebook computers, portable media players, and other high end gadgets all being packed in. Naturally, with all this valuable stuff being carried around (behind us no less!) and the fact that most backpacks are intentionally designed for quick and easy access (ideally, from the owner); it is not hard to imagine someone swiping our stuff from behind when we are in a crowded area. Consider the following scenario: you are on a jam packed subway wearing your backpack stuffed with your $1500 ThinkPad and $300 iPod. How hard would it be for some scrupulous character to cozy up behind you, unzip your backpack and extract your valuables?
Notebook bag and accessories company, Mobile Edge, feels that the aforementioned scenario and dilemma is quite possible and happens all too often. As such, they decided to tackle the issue by designing a backpack that is virtually inaccessible when it is being worn. The result of their efforts is the SecurePack and it will be the topic of this review. Features: Features and specifications for Mobile Edge's SecurePack can be found on their web site.
