CoolerMaster Musketeer (cont.)Testing And Installation: The installation was very straight forward. Much like putting in an optical drive, only you with a run of a few extra cables. In all honesty, it took about three minutes to hook everything up without using the manual. Installation is about as basic as you can get.
One more shot to show you how sexxxy this thing is. I can't wait to light it up and see it in action!
With nearly everything installed, all that's left is to run the included patch cord from the special PCI plate into the output of my sound card.
Here's a shot of the nice backlighting effect. A nice aftermarket mod indeed!
As for results, I used my Springfield precise temp monitor to test against the temperature sensor of the Musketeer. The Musketeer was within 2 degrees F. The VU is adjustable so you can control the sensitivity a more. I would say this is within +/- 2 for accuracy. Conclusion: PC
Toyland's musketeer
fit the bill perfectly for me. It is not over the
top with features I'll never use, and old skool styling satisfied
me without overwhelming me. It's packed with the right amount
of features, good looks, and is a quality fan controller.
