NZXT Nemesis Elite Mid Tower Computer Case (cont.)Power Supply: NZXT was gracious enough to include an XP400 Orion, 400 watt, P4 ready power supply. Let's take a closer look.
While I'm certain that this generic PSU is enough to run a casual rig, it's not going to come close for you serious gamers. I'd like to see at a minimum, a 400 Watt dual fan PSU with at least 19 Amps on the 12v rail. Then again, at this price and with all these features I don't see how that would be possible.
Fit And Finish: The fit is excellent, and all the panels come together terrific. The finish is very nice, though this black picks up the slightest fingerprint and smallest dust particle.
New soft rubber replaces the hard plastic feet of old. THANK YOU NZXT!
Who Needs Cathodes? In the interest of time, I threw in an old mobo and fired the Nemesis Elite up. Behold it's glory. You can say bye-bye to those cold cathode kits once and for all. The Nemesis namesake logo on the door lights as the hard drive is accessed, but I couldn't time the picture right :(
Conclusion: NZXT has out done themselves in my opinion. This case really surprised me with the radical redesign along with the new and extended features, such as the top mounted control panel.
I would like to see a motherboard tray implemented, as well as the strengthening bar hidden from the window's view, yet with the extensive overhaul from the Guardian case, I just can't hold that against this excellent performing case.
The airflow is great (once you remove the accessories box). The three 1800 RPM fans are nice and quiet while pushing ample air throughout.
