
Yes, you guessed it. This brand new iPod has been or rather, is inspired by the legendary singer, Prince. It is being sold and advertised as ‘limited edition’ so that die-hard fans can hurry and grab theirs at the nearest store. Kraken Opus, a British company, released this phone with a special 40-minute movie with footage from Prince’s “21 Nights” 2007 tour in London and also included is a live soundtrack from his “Indigo Nights” album. But all good things come at a price. All of these come at a price of $2,100 or to cut it down, $140 per song. The Prince Opus iPod comes with the “Prince 21 Nights Opus” which is a a book of photography of “21 Nights” shot by Randee St. Nicholas with lyrics and poetry by the artist himself. Die-hard fans will surely see the purchase of this iPod as a treat but as for the rest, well…..

No one can really be sure on this. Reports on this have only started coming out due to a leaked document from Bluetooth SIG. That leaked document made all the tech sites hyped on this product. Now whether this will be an Android phone, only HTC can confirm this. It is said that HTC named this model Fiesta and that it features the Android platform. Reports are positive that HTC will, in fact, release an Android phone but based on the HTC 2009 line-up that was leaked a couple of months ago, no mention of a certain HTC Fiesta was made. With that in mind, further rumors include of the release of HTC Fiesta in Asia, Europe and the USA.

Panasonic finally launched its latest Blu-Ray disc player, the DMP-BD60-K. This home Blu-Ray disc player supports ACVHD, 1080/24p and 1080/60p video while it features x.v.Color and BD Live. VOD services such as Youtube can be accessed to view videos stored in your network and that is possible because of its DLNA compliance present in this player. SD card which holds DVD and CD videos saved on it can be viewed on the player. Photos can be viewed as well on
on Google’s Picasa Web Album. Over at CNET, the DMP-BD60-K received a 7.4 out of 10 rating by its reviewers. The Panasonic DMP-BD60-K is and will be available at a store near you.

The above image is one of the leaked pictures of the new Zune HD. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet from the respective party, Microsoft. Many are hinting that there is, in fact, a new portable media player from Microsoft.. It is also possible that the Zune HD will or is in the same league as the Apple Ipod Touch. Unconfirmed features are a multitouch (capacitive) OLED screen, 16:9 aspect ratio, an out port on the side for TV purposes. Memory sizes would be 16GB and 32 GB. It is said to support wireless syncing to computers. Further rumors suggest that it supports multitouch and 3D Xbox games but only if this portable media player uses Nvidia’s Tegra chipset. No word, though, on when it will be released but many are saying it will be launched in September and is expected to be released in Canada, U.K and France.

After much awaited anticipation and rumors, Nikon finally released a formal announcement about the up and coming, D5000. High-definition video and a swiveling LCD screen are featured in this 12.3 megapixel camera. It has the same outlook as the D60 with features alike from the D90. What got reviewers excited about the D5000 are features like the video and a new swivel-screen. Other features are just like those found on the D90. It has a 2.7-inch screen with LCD features alike the one found on D60 except that on the D5000, it can be swiveled. The D5000 has by far been priced at around $900 and is expected to be released by later this month.

Just recently, Nintendo announced that they will include, along with the release of Wii Sports Resort, the Wii MotionPlus. Games to be included in the sequel of Wii Sports would be Sword Play, Power Cruising, and Disc Dog. The Wii MotionPlus controller has been improved and upgraded. Wii MotionPlus is a motion-control technology allowing for the feeling of true 1:1 motion control. Further details such as how much it will cost and the exact release date have not been released to the media yet.

T-Mobile’s upcoming Sidekick LX 2009 is said to be named as Sidekick Blade and to be released on May 13th. Info on this model as far as we searched is very little but still we managed. This cell phone from T-Mobile is 3G and it features a 3.2-inch WVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, and GPS with turn-by-turn navigation. Easy access to YouTube, MySpace and Twitter is said to be featured and included as well are video recording capabilities. Although there is no guaranteeing yet that this is the exact device we will see in the market this year, the combination of Sidekick LX’s excellent features and greater focus on apps and services from Danger-owner Microsoft seem to suggest that it is an authentic leak. So, cross your fingers and wait for this amazing gadget to be out in the store.

This unexpected Nokia 1661 is rather an old-fashion looking phone. It is said to be released on the 29th April. Unlike the N-series, Nokia 1661 does not have many features and not that much can be expected from it. From the surface, people will be attracted to it as it has an affordable price tag which does help in this economy crisis. The design is as simple as it can get. Dell took in deep consideration over the complaint made by a couple of reviewers on how the XPS 625 and XPS 630 overclocks the CPU. Their solution to that problem is the addition of a new liquid cooling option in the upcoming releases of both of these models. The new liquid cooling option will come in the form of an Asetek liquid cooling system so it is expected to be slightly different than the standard fan-based system such as being quieter and at the same time, is said to keep the system nice and chilly. Customers can expect the upgraded release of these models later this month.

If you are aware of it yet, there are GPS devices around that are aimed and targeted to motorcyclists. Mio’s C523 V2 navigator is the newest addition on the block. Aimed with pretty much the same features as its predecessor, the C523, this GOS device is hoping to be of more help to the motorcyclists on the road with features like a 4.3-inch and as well as features for entertainment purposes. The newly installed mode, the “rider mode”, is said to help the motorcyclists focus more on the road rather than losing focus while looking at the display. It also supports 1seg digital TV tuning in Japan where motorcyclists can have a ‘glance’ at their favorite programs. No word yet of when it will be released but as of now, word on the street is that the pricing will be about S446.
