
Asus announced the DSL-N11, a 2-in-1 Wi-Fi ADSL 2/2+ Modem Router. This modem is build upon a Wi-Fi 802.11n wireless router with integrated ADSL2/2+ modem. The 2-in-1 modem router features Asus EZ UI that will allow for easier router installation and network management for users, via a combination of features like Quick Internet Setup (QIS), Network Map, Dr. Surf and EZQoS (Quality of Service) functions. The Asus DSL-N11 has four 10/100Base-TX MDI/MDIX RJ-45 ports and supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n WiFi. WPA-PSK, WPA1, 802.1x RADIUS, WPS and 802.11e WLAN QoS encryption standards are supported.

Garmin today announces the Forerunner 310XT and 405CX waterproof multi-sport GPS-enabled fitness devices that features wireless connectivity and capability to sync wirelessly through ANT+™ technology with Garmin heart rate monitors and foot pods. Both units track speed, distance and location, as well as show heart rate-based calorie computation. They can also be used with an optional, streamlined foot pod that can fit on laces or under certain shoes’ insoles, and also features high-sensitivity GPS receiver with HotFix™ that acquires and sustains satellite reception. The featured ANT+ technology allows both devices to send workout data to the user’s PC or Mac via automatic wireless data transfer. Asustek Computer officially announces its first Eee PC with an optical disc drive (ODD), the E1004DN. The E1004DN is built with an Intel Atom N280 CPU paired with GN40 chipset, a 120 GB hard drive, and will carry a suggested retail price of NT$18,000-20,000 (US$531-590). Somehow within its 10.2-inch measurement, the E1004DN netbook still manages to squeeze in a DVD burner, ExpressCard slot and three USB 2.0 ports, as well as WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and an 8-in-1 multiformat card reader. Slated to remain in Europe and China only, the netbook was spotted making its rounds at the FCC at the beginning of March.

Iriver has put to press out for the D50N, which completes iRiver’s January announcements of its line of product launches this year. The D50N is a portable networking eDictionary with WiFi connectivity, as well as a 4.8-inch (800 x 480) WVGA touch screen. It also features a QWERTY keyboard, and allows up to 16 hours of music playback and 8 hours of video playback. The unit also features an internal memory capacity of 16GB for users to store music and video files, IEEE 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity and will retail for approximately $370 MSRP.

Philips has just recently debut its retro mini digital camera, the MIC4014SB/27 which features the ability to capture images in QVGA resolution as well as record AVI video. Not only does the MIC4014SB/27 capture stills, it can also double up as a web cam, the best thing is that you don’t have to use batteries on it, seeing that it is powered by an in-built rechargeable lithium-ion battery. There are not prices announced yet for this little unit, but we’re guessing it won’t tear too much out of your pocket with the minimal specs you see here. Get retro cool with the multi functional Philips MIC4014SB/27.
