LG ties in with Verizon on VersaTM QWERTY phone.

The LG will be working hand in hand with Verizon on the new VersaTM adaptable device which will be supported by fashion accessories from Liz Claiborne and Dooney & Burke, as well as a host of water resistant, sport, and plain leather cases. Set to be retailed for $199.99 on contract after a $50 rebate, with a dedicated game pad controller will set users back another $29.99, the mobile phone features large 3 inch touchscreen LCD with Tactile Feedback, 262 K colour TFT (480 x 240 pixels) with Touch Screen with Handwriting Recognition; a 2.0 megapixel camera and camcorder with SmartPic Technology, Face Detection and Scene Mode for improved image quality and enhanced camera and video editing features; Intuitive Rotating Display; Bluetooth connectivity; support for most music file playback; and up to 16 GB microSD Optional Removable Memory. Look out for this handset March 2009 onwards.
