February 12th, 2009

Not long after the announcement of the new Rubik’s 360, Rubik’s Cube inventor is back with Rubik’s TouchCube that features light-up colour panels that can be randomised via a scramble button, and then rearrange the blocks by a swipe of the finger. Said to be the “first completely electronic, solvable Rubik’s Cube,” this one maintains the shape of the original but replaces the colored stickers with actual lights. It is feared up to join the Rubik’s 360 at the American international Toy Fair, and although release date is not mentioned, but there’s always the high probability it will be sometime around the pre-Christmas rush.
