Toshiba Announces SD-P93DTW External DVD Player

The latest DVD player from Toshiba, the SD-P93DTW, cloaks itself in a Tablet PC look.
The SD-P93DTW displays digital media on its 9 inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The 1.2 kg player includes 1Seg digital TV tuner and also has support for analog input, DTS/DOBLY DVDs for virtual surround sound via its built-in speakers and can also play DviX videos. The unit is also equipped a card slot that supports SD / SDHC / microSD / micro SDHC cards. The Toshiba SD-P93DTW will be available with a price tag around 50,000 Yen (€390) in the coming month.
