In addition to being the cheapest way to give your computer a noticeable boost in overall performance, a memory upgrade is arguably the easiest to perform. A long time ago, memory upgrades referred strictly to capacity. Nowadays, the speed of the memory has also become important. Sure there are plenty super cheap value memory sticks available. They are capable of running at their specified stock speeds, albeit at very relaxed latency timings.
