Oglebox ATX Display CaseProvided By: Oglebox Are you an old school computer fan? Do you have a Pentium III, K7, or god forbid a Pentium stored away somewhere? Well take them out, dust them off and put them on display with an Oglebox ATX Display Case. Like the name implies, Oglebox is a display case for your motherboard. Oglebox makes three styles of display cases: Bronze, Clear and Emerald. Each style provides its own specialty and a choice of two sizes: large and small. This review will be covering the large Emerald display case.
Packaging:
The Oglebox display case comes packaged in a blank brown cardboard box with an Oglebox sticker at the top of the box. Inside, the display case is enclosed in a thick plastic bag and drowned in a sea of pink packaging peanuts.

Description:
The Oglebox display case can be thought of as a motherboard "frame." It is made entirely of acrylic. The front panel features plastic hinges at the top and metal key lock at the bottom. Two wall hanging keyholes exist on the back wall side while a number of copper motherboard stands are on the internal side.
The back, top, and bottom panels are actually one long piece of acrylic with the two ends rounded to a perpendicular angle to create the three sides. Each acrylic panel is emerald tinted which gives it the look of real glass without the troubles, heavy and the ability to shatter. The glue job of the acrylic panels to each other is excellent, but the glue that bonds the plastic hinges to the panels do have visible swirl marks. |
