A bad power supply can take it away by damaging components because of inconsistent voltages. Finding a quality power supply can be hard. RaidMax has been designing quality power supplies for quite a few years now. RaidMax sent us a couple of power supplies and we will be reviewing the RaidMax LP-6100D, 400 Watt ATX power supply unit, or PSU.</p> <p align="center"><a href="atruereview/raidmax400w/1raidmaxth.jpg"><img src="atruereview/raidmax400w/1raidmaxth.jpg" alt="RaidMax LP-6100D power supply in box" border="1" width="325" height="266"></a><br> <font size="-1">Click on image for larger picture</font> <br> </p> <p>Colorful is the first thought that comes to mind when looking at the RaidMax LP-6100D. A blue aluminum casing surrounds the power supply unit and the PSU is packaged in a brownish orange box with multi-colored lettering all over the box. To touch it off, two blue 80mm fans are attached to the PSU.
