Description:
Raidmax KY-550ATX Hybrid PSU's housing sports a super reflective blue metallic finish with orange rectangular windows on the right and left side. These are a very attractive visual feature, especially for a power supply that is targeted for budget users.
Three 80mm fans are used for cooling of the KY-550ATX Hybrid. Each of which is grilled. There is an internally mounted rear exhaust fan, an internally mounted bottom intake fan, and an externally mounted front intake fan. The internally mounted fans feature blue LEDs while the one external fan does not. However, that fan has LED holes drilled into its housing, so adding LEDs to it is a possibility.
All of the cables extending out of the KY-550ATX Hybrid power supply are sleeved with an orange sleeve for a majority of their lengths. All of the power connectors are orange as well, with the exception of the SATA power connectors which are black.
Speaking of connectors, there are 2 SATA, 6 Molex, two floppy power connectors, one 12V ATX, one ATX 20 pin, and one 4 pin plug which can be joined with the ATX 20pin plug to make an ATX 24pin plug for the ATX 2.0 standard. |
