The package arrived via FedEx. A good choice, yet
there were a lot of marks on the box, some punctured all the way
through the corrugated cardboard. I was sure the display had suffered
damage.

Once I opened the outer shell, I was relieved. Samsung had wrapped the display
in huge amounts of foam. There wasn't a single scratch on the unit. Whew!
First Look:
The 173P in all it's retail glory comes
complete with mounds of paperwork, a software/manual CDR, wall
mounts, cables,
and more.

The 173P even adjusts in style. The multi-tilt and
rotational aspects are top notch here. The screen has literally
hundreds, if not thousands, of adjustment possibilities. The pedestal
even contains a
lazy susan mechanism.

The cables included are for digital as well as analog,
either can be used.
