Sunbeam Trio Computer Gaming CaseInternal: Removing the large window gives a view of the inside. This case looks like many others I had reviewed on the past. The 3 1/2 inch drive bays extend from the middle of the case to the floor. The 5 1/4 inch bays start at the top and connect to the 3 1/2 bays. There is a non-pull out motherboard tray with screw-ins already installed. The PSU rests on a small shelf at the back. I assume there is a big case manufacturer overseas that pumps out these same skeletons.
The difference with this case is the way it handles a screwless design. These plastic guides plug into a drive through the drive bay. Turning the tab locks the drive in. It is very simple to install a drive. When locked the guide holds the drive securely.
The top 5 1/4 inch and 3 1/2 inch bays are already popped out. Each corner around the bays is rounded so that sharp edges are nullified.
The front inside of the case looks like it supports a ton of (four) 80mm fans. It can also support one 120mm fan. Too bad there are no fans installed.
Inside the front facing are a bunch of wires and electronics for all the gauges, USB ports, and LEDs.
Underneath the power supply is a clear 120mm LED fan. As mentioned before, this case also supports two 80mm fans. Unfortunately, some of the case blocks the airflow of a 120mm fan. Two 80mm fans would allow for a cleaner airflow.
Below the fan is a unique screwless expansion card system. I really like this system for it is not confusing and a simple idea. To use it, slide the card into an expansion slot in a motherboard. Then, with a finger, push the proper guide over. There is a small round nipple that pushes through the card's bracket into a hole in the case. The guide locks into place. Note: these guides will not work with full height cards, the bracket must be removed. Screws are used to hold the cards in with the bracket removed.
