Since all the key components are enclosed in a single unit, an external system is easy to install for there is no need to install individual components inside the computer case (other than the water-block). Because there is no need to fit a radiator, pump, and reservoir inside the computer case, external liquid cooling systems are compatible with just about any case. </p> <p align="left">The one stigma about external systems is that because they have to fit key liquid cooling components inside a compact enclosure, those key components usually pail in performance to those of internal liquid cooling kits. Consider though, what if you took the components of an internal liquid cooling kit and enclosed it in a roomy enclosure. The result would be something that has the convenience of an external system with the performance of an internal kit.
