Titan Robela WaterCase Deluxe Water-Cooling ChassisExterior: The Titan Robela WaterCase is available in two colors, Silver or Black. With each color, the WaterCase is also available with either a solid aluminum or ABS plastic front panel. This means there is a total of 4 different Robela models. The model I am reviewing is Silver with a plastic front. All the sides of the case, except for the back, have a matte paint finish.
The front of Titan's Robela WaterCase features a two-level full length door. On the outer door is a mirrored plastic panel which spans from the top of the door to the bottom. Towards the top of this panel is a small multi-functional LCD display accompanied by three function buttons. Towards the bottom of this panel is a 3x6 grid of small circle vents.
Opening the outer door reveals the inner door, which features the exposed drive bays, power and reset buttons, and a big circle vent. With the exception of the top most 5.25" bay, each drive bay is covered with a plastic drive bezel.
Opening the inner door reveals the installation level of the Robela's front. This level allows for drive and front fan installation. In addition, this level also has a knob which can lock the left side panel. The Robela is capable of handling one 80mm front intake fan, though one is not included. On the front right of the case is a keyhole which allows the user to lock both the inner and outer door, just the outer door, or lock no doors. When both doors are locked, the power button cannot be accessed. Noticeably missing from the front of the case is the power and HDD LEDs. While the LCD display on the front acts as an indicator when the computer is on, with the Robela there is no visual way of knowing when the hard drive is being accessed.
At the top of the case is a plastic hub. This hub has a bunch of vent holes for a top mounted case fan. In addition, this plastic hub also has a small door which opens to reveal the case's available I/O ports featuring a Firewire, two USB, microphone and speaker ports. The top of the case also features two chromed plastic handles. These handles can be used as a means to hold the case when moving it around. Because they are made of plastic, I doubt they will be able to support a fully loaded system.
The left side of the Titan Robela WaterCase features the first hint that this is a water-cooling case – a huge (~250x300mm) radiator. Only by having the water-cooling integrated into the case can such a big radiator logically fit on a case. The radiator is protected by a vented chrome metal shield. Above radiator is a reservoir level meter and fill port. On the sides of the radiator are chromed plastic handles just like the top of case. These handles, however are not meant to support the case. They are only meant to make removing the side panel easier.
At the bottom of the case are four winged rotating feet. Each foot's wing can be rotated outward to give the Robela better stability.
The back of the case features the standard assortments with nothing particularly noteworthy. Both the left and right side panels are secured with thumb screws.
