Titan Vanessa S-Type Heatpipe HeatsinkProvided By: Titan It is quite obvious that CPU cooler manufacturers have embraced using heatpipes in their heatsinks. Back when I did my first Heatpipe Heatsinks review, only a very small handful of manufacturers used heatpipes in their heatsinks. Now, just about every CPU cooler manufacturer has at least one heatpipe heatsink model. Furthermore, certain manufacturers try to distinguish their coolers by adding some visual appeal, breaking away from the "tower" look. One example is the Titan Vanessa S-Type. Just how is the Vanessa S-Type visually different from the prototypical tower heatpipe heatsink? How well does it perform? Read on and find out.
Packaging: Vanessa S-Type comes packaged in a cellophane wrapped, fully colored retail box. Gracing the front of the box is a futuristic CGI female model with techno butterfly wings. Also, on the front is the name of the product along with a small 3/4th shot of the cooler and an icon list of features.
The bottom of the box has a pictured list of the cooler's features, while the left side of the box has profile shots.
The back of the box has a list of complete features (both in a text list and a pictured diagram) along with the specifications table.
Inside, the various parts of Titan's Vanessa S-Type are situated in clear plastic compartments. All the mounting brackets and various small necessities are enclosed in a small colored accessory box.
