Sunbeam Transformer Gaming CaseProvided By: Sunbeam
Tech Finding that perfect computer case is hard. A few weeks ago we checked out Sunbeam's computer gaming case, the Samurari. While it was stylish, it didn't offer the cooling performance of other high end gaming cases. It was also a bit small for those with a lot of devices. This is where Sunbeam's Transformer case comes in. The Transformer case is bigger, has a lot of cooling options, and is very stylish. Let's take a more indepth look.
Packaging:
Sunbeam sent the Samurai to us and it was damaged because DHL roughed it up. This time the Transformer case was double boxed to give it added protection. Good thing too because the outer box had a big chunk taken out of it.
Another good reason for the extra box is that the tape on the bottom of the retail box broke.
Another thing Sunbeam did was to ship the case's face separate. This was above and beyond the call of duty, for the double box would have been enough to protect the Transformer case and face. The face was surrounded with bubble wrap and padded with cardboard.
Sunbeam Tech's Transformer case comes packaged in a full colored retail box. The front of the box features a picture of the case along with its name lettered across the top. On the back box is a side shot of the Transformer along with a diagram highlighting the features.
Features of the Transformer are listed on the left and right sides.
Inside, the case is enclosed in a plastic bag and held in place by pieces of Styrofoam. The side window was not protected by a plastic film. Scratches on the window can occur during shipping and it would have been nice to see this safety feature. Features: Features and specifications can be seen on Sunbeam Tech's website.
