My Game Controller The process of building a top notch gaming system seems to constantly entail a battle of two brands. First, you must choose which processor (Intel or AMD) to build the system around. Then there is the choice of graphics card (ATI or nVidia) that will handle the games. After the system is finalized, a worthy gaming mouse must be chosen. Surely enough, the choice of a top tier gaming mouse is a battle of two brands: Logitech and Razer.
Sure there are other gaming mouse brands, just as there are other brands of video cards and processors; but these two brands offer the absolute best. Each has their own respective claim to fame in the realm of gaming mice. Each has just released their own "mother of them all" gaming mouse: G5 from Logitech and Copperhead from Razer. Both these mice are equipped with the latest technologies that set them far apart from all other gaming mice. Both are also equipped with their own revolutionary features that sets them apart from each other. Just what are all these technologies and features? Read on and find out. Packaging: Coincidently, the Logitech G5 and the Razer Copperhead's packaging have a rather similar look. The Logitech G5 comes packaged in a green background, full colored retail box. The front of the box has a hyperbolic cutout which exposes the blister enclosed Logitech G5 mouse. Also on the front is an icon list of the mouse's features as well as an icon proudly reflecting Logitech as the "#1 world leader in mice."
The right side of the box displays the specifications table while the bottom of the box lists the system requirements and package contents.
The back of the box highlights the Logitech G5's main features – each accompanied with a brief explanation. Also on back is a further iteration of Logitech's position in the global computer mice market. Inside, the Logitech G5 mouse and accompanying accessories are all secured in separate blister compartments.
Razer's Copperhead also comes packaged in a full colored retail box with a hyperbolic cutout on the front. The copperhead is displayed in the middle of the cutout surrounded by reflective colored cardboard. Also on the front is brief icon list of the Razer Copperhead's main features as well as icons proudly showing Razer's association with the World Cyber Games and the CPL World Tour.
The left side of the box features a message from the founder of Razer as well as icons showing the Razer Copperhead as the mouse of choice for the teams SK Gaming and Eyeballers.
The right side of the box features a technical comparison between the Razer Copperhead and standard computer mice. The back of the box displays a full features list in 8 different languages as well as the system requirements. Also displayed on the back are the different color models that the Razer Copperhead is available in. Inside, the mouse and the included documentation are each secured in blister compartments. |
