X-Handler Case (cont.)Inside: The side panel includes a nice air filter all across the mesh. This is excellent idea to stave off dust from entering your case. Here as well, you can see the duct mod that is moveable to aid in your specific application. Unfortunately, there was no fan installed, the duct mod only accepts an 80mm fan, and I only received two specially sized screws (shown previously) to install a side or blowhole fan.
The inside of the case isn't exactly roomy. It's just big enough to fit a full sized ATX board, but the drive bay on the other hand will hold five hard drives (six if you count the internally accessible 3-1/2" bay)!
The air filtration design flows onto the top of the case as well. Here you'll find a nicely meshed "ceiling" with a filtered spot for a blowhole fan. Again, no fan is included here and it only accepts an 80mm fan.
Fit And Finish: Finally, we come to the best part of this case, fit and finish. They were both excellent, with a hammered finish on the case as well as on the handles. The paint all matched and I found no over spray at all. The panels are very nicely done, lined up perfectly. Good job here.
While definitely not the case of choice for water coolers, the X-Handler is fairly roomy for a full size based ATX system. I had zero problems fitting all my components inside.
Conclusion: Despite being made of steel instead of aluminum,
the price is right on mark with this case. It's a nicely done budget
case with a little style and some excellent features I haven't found
in cases at twice the price. Mod possibilities are nearly endless
here. All-in-all a nice case for the price. Thanks Xoxide!
